The House of Mecca Sadaqa Group Inc is a Salafi Homeschool Assistance Program, a religious organization that is run based upon Islamic principles of Qur’aan wa Sunnah, Islamic Shariah, and following the footsteps of those upon the path of the As-Salafis Salih. We at (THM) are offering Islamically prepared lessons that are designed specifically for today's Homeschooling parents and for those, who are taking the responsibility to educate their children upon Qur’aan wa Sunnah and the path of the believers, at home inshaAllah.

What is your role in the business? Owner.

Why did you choose this endeavor? Because I enjoy it and Allah has given me the ability to do what I enjoy from the comfort of my home, Alhamdulillah.

What marketing strategies do you use? Word of mouth, and web ads.

What was your biggest challenge getting started? Trying to get others involved.

What accomplishment are you most happy with? The completion of the websites and spreading the dawah.

Where would you like to see your company in five years? We would like to have a grand opeing for the All-Girls academy in Georgia servicing online students as well.

What advice would you give Muslim women looking to start a business? To make lots of dua and never give up on your goals as long as they are compliant with the deen inshaAllah.

What networking opportunities do you offer Muslim businesses? We have online Business Seminars and courses for the Muslimah.

Biography:

Bismillah Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatahu Alhamdulillah, Allah has allowed ukhti Saddiqua Muhammad Black bint Elijah to be able to channel her energy in the department of homeschool education, or as some people know it Home Study Programs. Some of her experience: Living now in the state of Georgia, close to all three salafi Masaajid in the area she has had the benefit of working with some of the children and the adults from this community through physical homeschool, online participation, Masjid arts & crafts, home basics training, field trips and scheduling book readings or classes from female students of knowledge (May Allah continue to grant the efforts of all of them success) Aameen. Previously living in south Jersey ukhti Saddiqua founded/operated an afterschool youth program for five consecutive years for the neighborhood children having more than 35 -50 attending children. Active participation on a daily basis alhamdulillah. This program offered children who were needlessly left unattended an opportunity to broaden skills, increase positive behavior, and to learn to be safe from harm with dependance upon Allah. As an added benefit, The apartment complex donated to us a cummunity center which increased the benefit and space for the children and allowing us to use donated computers to build parent and child relations by expanding to Adult participation programs for family outings, literacy, job search and computer training, alhamdulillah.

College Degree: For those of you who feel it is important for an individual to have a degree under the belts before working with children or doing anything else for that matter ukhti Saddiqua says "Allah knows best," Our beloved messenger Muhammad ibn Abdullah (salla allahu alaihi wa sallaam) was not a man who held a degree. Yet he was the best example for all of mankind alhamdulillah. It is important for a person to understand the basic concepts of religion, how to live his life, and why he exist. To understand Tawheed, to know who the messenger is and that he was the last to be sent to all of mankind. To have righteous character or be working towards that to the best of your ability and so forth...these are the things that will inshaAllah benefit you later... However, (for the sake of providing a proof) I attended and graduated from The Academy of Culinary Arts for two years and received a gold medal for my achievement alhamdulillah. My Associate of Science degree required that I complete Academic Studies in fields of English Grammer, Mathematics, World History, Literature, Principles of Management, Public Speaking, Psychology and others alhamdulillah Allah again allowed me to succeed in these areas with high standards (GPA 3.0). And I am currently enrolled in Ashworth College for Early Childhood Developement holding a G.P.A. of 4.0 Allahu Akbar, may Allah make it successful for me and others as well Aameen. All of these things mean nothing to me, except that Allah has allowed me to share a piece of what He has given to me with others by his will.

As for my Creed and Understanding of Islam. I am Salafi and inshaAllah I strive only to take from those who are upon knowledge, the Ulema, the Students of Knowledge, and the Imams in the west who are upon ad-dawatus salafiyyah. May Allah grant us success in this deen, grant us Jennah, and provide for us a good ending to this life and entrance to the next life Aameen. Barakallahu Feekum.
