Want to make a couple hundred today translating Arabic from home??

Recently I discovered Amazon's MTurk. MTurk is a site where you can do short jobs, or HITs, and get paid pretty quickly. HITs are Human Intelligence Tasks, meaning a computer can't produce the work and the job requesters need people to do it.
Well guess what? You can translate Arabic for money here too! I just ran into a HIT that pays $1 for some sentences translated from Arabic into English to help improve automatic translations. There were over 200 HITs when I check today. Want to keep yourself busy for the day? Go for it: Search for HITs now!
Will I really get paid? The requester WikiTrans seems to have good feedback on TurkOpticon a rating systems addon on for Firefox created by MTurk users that will display ratings next to each requesters name. If you like the work you can be alerted by email of new postings using TurkAlert. Just make sure to request email alerts after adding the requester to your watch list by clicking your watch list and clicking "subscribe"
